Dear Partners and Friends, for this month we are glad to inform you that despite the hurdles faced in last year’s during the Eid Holidays, Thailand has still attracted more than half a million passengers registering a growth of more than 7%, keeping its top ranking as a favorite Asian destination from this region, unfortunately accompanied by this good news, it is time for me to say goodbye, as my time here in the Middle East has come to an end, replacing me will be Mr.Wisoot Bauchoom, who I am sure he will enjoy the warmth and the hospitality of this region same as I have over the past four years.

Amazing Thailand Night 2012, 9 February 2012

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Dubai & Middle East Office has officially invited over 100 guests from the tourism, airline, media and Thailand business communities for participating the “Amazing Thailand Night 2012” which will be held on February 9th, 2012, at the Dusit Thani Hotel Dubai, in order to thank all TAT partners as well as bid farewell for the current Director, Mr.Pramoth Supyen and welcome the new Director, Mr.Wisoot Buachoom to the Tourism Authority of Thailand Dubai & Middle East Office.

TAT Dubai office is organizing the campaign under the name of “ Amazing Norooz in Amazing Thailand 2012” to be held during 1-31 March, 2012. “Norooz “ which is the name of the Iranian New Year in Iranian calendars and the corresponding traditional celebrations. Norooz is also widely referred to as the Persian New Year, the huge number of Iranian Market tourist has been travelling to Thailand during this period of time every year .The aim is to boost number of Iranian tourist travel to Thailand during the Norooz or Iranian New Year in March 2012. All Iranian Nationals who present their passport to the participated vendors cross Thailand during the promotional timing will be entitled for the special privileges from shopping malls, recreations and spa
